Trained Dogs by Breed

Select trained dogs are available for qualified homes. Levels range from started juveniles to deterrent, bodyguard, executive family protector, and presidential family guardian. Each dog is developed through structured obedience and real-world evaluation. Handoff coaching and lifetime support included.

Training Levels

Started Puppy — Foundation obedience and house manners. Trained Juvenile — Heel, sit, down, place, recall, crate trained, calm in public. Deterrent Level — Bark on command, controlled presence. Bodyguard Level — Full obedience plus confident protection with on/off control. Executive Family Protector / Presidential Family Guardian — Highest standard: discreet, composed, advanced protection and public manners.

Every placement includes owner handoff coaching, a simple practice plan, licensed veterinary health certificate, and lifetime support. Guided placement locally and nationwide.

About our trained dogs for sale

A trained dog from Bernardsville K9 is a purpose-bred German Shepherd or Doberman that has already done the foundation work most owners never have time for. Depending on the dog, that ranges from started dogs — solid obedience, house manners, and socialization — to fully finished adults with reliable off-leash control and, where appropriate, personal-protection training. Every dog is health-tested and raised with structured early development, so you get stable temperament as well as trained skills.

How it works

We start by learning about your home, experience, and goals, then match you with a dog that genuinely fits — not just whatever is available. Before your dog goes home, we include handler training so you can maintain and build on what the dog already knows. We're based at 570 Mine Brook Road in Bernardsville, NJ (Somerset County) and offer nationwide placement; many clients drive or fly in to meet their dog.
